Parties
The seller is Marte Kristi Malkenæs (contact details are shown in the box above). The buyer is the person who completes an order or submits a binding enquiry that we confirm.
The website is a sales and exhibition space for art. A purchase is concluded when we have confirmed the order in writing (email) or when payment has been received via an approved payment solution.
Products and prices
Each work page shows title, technique, size, price and status (available, sold, coming for sale). Prices are stated in Norwegian kroner and apply as shown on the page at the time of order.
Originals are unique (1/1) and can only be sold once. Prints are in a limited edition where this is stated. We do our best to ensure that images and descriptions are accurate, but minor colour variations may occur between screen and physical work.
Ordering
You can send an enquiry via the form on product pages or the contact form. We normally reply within 1–2 working days with confirmation, delivery time and any questions about shipping.
An agreement is binding when you have received written order confirmation from us and paid, or when we have agreed invoice/Vipps payment that has been completed.
Payment
We offer payment by card and Vipps via approved payment solutions (e.g. Stripe). Payment is in Norwegian kroner. We do not store full card numbers — payment is handled by the payment provider.
For enquiries without immediate payment, we may send a payment link or invoice by agreement.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping cost and delivery time are stated when the order is confirmed. Originals and prints are packed carefully for transport. Risk for the goods passes to you when the item is handed to the carrier or collected from us by agreement.
International shipping may be offered by agreement. You are responsible for any customs and import costs outside Norway.
Defects and complaints
You have the right to complain about defects in accordance with applicable consumer purchase law. Complaints must be reported within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered. Contact us by email with order number, photos and a description of the problem.
For an approved complaint we will repair, replace or refund by agreement. Normal wear and damage resulting from improper storage are not covered.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a right of withdrawal for distance sales in accordance with the Cancellation Act. See the separate page on the right of withdrawal for deadlines, procedure and exceptions.
When using the right of withdrawal we refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving notice that you wish to withdraw from the agreement, provided the return conditions are met.
Disputes
We aim to resolve any disagreements amicably. If that is not possible, you may complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution portal for e-commerce.
Norwegian law applies to the agreement. Venue is according to the ordinary rules for consumer purchases.
