Data controller
Marte Kristi Malkenæs is the data controller for personal data collected via martekristi.no and in connection with sales and customer service. Contact: hei@martekristi.no.
What data we collect
We may process name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order history and messages you send us via forms.
When paying by card or Vipps, the payment provider (e.g. Stripe) handles transaction data. We only receive the information necessary to complete the order and keep accounts.
We may also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type and page views via analytics tools if these are enabled (see cookies).
Purpose and legal basis
We use the information to respond to enquiries, complete sales, deliver goods, provide customer service and meet legal obligations (e.g. bookkeeping).
The legal basis is normally the contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), our legal obligation (bookkeeping, Art. 6(1)(c)), or legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)). For email marketing we ask for consent where required.
Retention period
Enquiries and order data are stored for as long as necessary for the purpose and in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act (normally at least 5 years for accounting records). Form submissions that do not lead to a sale may be deleted on request once the matter is closed.
Sharing with others
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted processors needed to operate the website and payments, e.g. Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe/Vipps (payment) and possibly an email provider. These are bound by a data processing agreement or equivalent terms.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability where applicable. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
